A Little Bit About Me
When you reach the cusp of entering the fourth decade (oh my god!!) of your life, your perspective about many things in life changes. Things that once seemed important and achievements you were proud about, they all seem minuscule. Then there are other things that remain the same, or become more vital. To cut it short - we mature - a little bit at least.
I was born in Hyd, India, and grew up in the Gulf. And then moved back here for my higher studies. I've done post graduation in Information Systems, and have been freelancing ever since - building websites, content writing, content improvement, blog upkeep, QA for sites and apps and so on, so forth - which I rather like for its flexibility.
I love my family (of course). I've got two elder sisters and am an aunt to 4 kids. I'm attached to my friends, they've been a constant, rock solid support in my life. I'd gladly do my best to be of any help to them.
I seek mental stimulation wherever I go, and my curiosity has killed many cats. I'm forever intellectually starved - I read voraciously - anything and everything. Writing is another passion, though I haven't given it much TLC.
I'm quite sensible and mature, unless the childish fairy takes over me. I dearly love to laugh. I'm a shy introvert. I'll be as quiet as mouse, but once I trust and love someone completely, then I chirp incessantly like an annoying cricket. In gatherings, you'll have to search to find me, I'll be at the fringes observing people and smiling benignly. With my friends, I'm a wee bit wicked.
I'm an idealist by nature and try to keep an open mind about everything. Some people find me too broad minded and independent, which I am. I wish to live honestly, simply and love openly, without reserve.
I have my share of faults and it is an uphill task to overcome them. But you gotta keep trying.
Islam is very important to me. It is one of the sparkling beauties of my life, and deeply personal. I've had my share of struggles, and I still do go through them.

What I Am Looking For
A man with integrity of character, an open mind, who's honest and reasonable. Someone who realizes that growth of character is a never-ending lesson, and who has the humility to accept his shortcomings and the strength to correct mine. Basically a match of equals who help each other grow.
Being decently ambitious and sincerely hardworking is important. A silly, mischievous sense of humor and a witty, intellectual conversationalist would be very welcome.
I look to enrich my future family's life, and i hope they'd accept me and mine with open arms, unreservedly.
It doesn't matter much where you stay in the world, but I strongly prefer someone of Hyderabadi origins.
So if this first round of introductions passes muster, let me know if you're up for the second round: Interrogation. I'll have my torture tools ready ;)
